Electrical Design Engineer - To 45K + Package Norwich
Established over 70 years ago, this multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy still considers their people to be their greatest assets. They provide a stimulating and rewarding working environment, continuous learning and work on diverse projects.
They have an active social event committee as they appreciate that the teams that have fun together, stay together.
They offer a hybrid working policy (typically two to three days a week in the office) and allow flexible working hours and do not micro-manage employees.
As an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, you'll work on an interesting range of projects across the education, healthcare, defence, commercial and leisure sectors.
Rather than battling with external specialist consultants, here they have every discipline inhouse, which creates a much more harmonious way of working. You'll interact closely with the civil and structural, environmental and energy engineers, lighting engineers, as well as the inhouse architects, surveyors, design, cost consultants and project managers.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be involved in projects from end to end, and enjoy seeing your designs progress from RIBA stages 2,3,4 all the way to construction. And rather than being stuck behind a screen all day, here you will also enjoy plenty of site involvement as you project manage and oversee and check the quality of the contractors' electrical installations.
You'll receive structured training and development; allowing you to develop a good overall awareness of building services to include lighting, ICT and security systems, BMS and emerging technologies or low carbon technologies.
