What will you be doing?

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will join the team inNorwichto support our activities within the Defencesector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Designing and modelling the electrical architecture for wired connected communication system
• Creating electrical engineering drawings including schematics, block diagrams, wiring diagrams and harnesses
• Utilizing Windchill PLM to develop procurement specifications for major purchased products
• Using BS 7671 for low voltage electrical installations and IET wiring regulations for Electrical Designs.
• Sizing various system components, fibre optic cable plantsand refining rough sketches
• Collaborating with all disciplines in order to ensure the effective integration of electrical and mechanical systems.

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Degree in a relevant engineering field
• 3 - 10 years of experience within Electrical Design
• Experience using AutoCAD electrical
• Should be ableto gain UK Security clearance
