Electrical Engineer

Shift pattern covers a 3 week cycle. Mornings, afternoons and nights. Shifts are Monday to Friday only, with weekends off.

A competitive starting salary of £41,000, inclusive of shift allowance an increase to £46,000 after a 12-month familiarisation period.

Role Essentials:

• Adept at reactive and preventive maintenance to a wide range of combustion / instrumentation and control systems
• Proficient in performing calibrations and configuring various types of instruments
• Skilled in reading and interpreting complex technical diagrams and specifications
• Capable of adhering to safety standards and regulations pertinent to the field
• Assist in the efficient planning and running of the process control function through following routine planned maintenance schedules, quality assurance and the coordination responses to breakdowns.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation (HNC/ONC or equivalent)
• Competence in 16th / 17th Edition I.E.T. Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience in an Instrument / Control / Electrical experience within industrial systems
• Calibration of instrumentation
• A solid understanding of electronic systems and their applications in an industrial setting
• Familiarity with PLCs, control systems, and associated software would be advantageous
• Experience of CCTV and audio communications system
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and work with technical data
