Do you come from an Electrical Engineering background in a Manufacturing business where you've either worked as a Senior Engineer or an Engineering Manager and want to progress your career with a historic international business that has delivered major Renewable Energy and Mechanical projects across the globe?
This company is a leading specialist in the manufacture and delivery of engine cooling pumps and hydroelectric turbines around the world. With innovation at the heart of their ethos this company wants to expand their impressive number of prestigious clients by offering engineered solutions for the Small Hydropower and High Horsepower Engine markets.
In this role you will be working closely alongside the company's CEO and Technical Manager to run the Electrical Engineering department within the business where you will oversee a variety of design, programming, project engineering, commissioning and manufacturing activities.
The ideal candidate will come from an Electrical Engineering background and have experience in the Manufacturing industry where they have worked either officially in a management position or unofficially in a leadership position, such as being a Senior Engineer or a Principal Engineer. They will also need to have some knowledge of/experience with Commissioning, and experience of PLCs/HMIs.

The role:
* Taking responsibility for company's Electrical Engineering department
* Overseeing Electrical side of manufacturing works, projects, commissioning and PLC programming * Liaising with Service department to provide support for Electrical & Controls faults and breakdowns
* Supporting the ongoing professional development of the Electrical Engineering team
* Inputting into the specification and design of Electrical & Controls equipment
The person:
* Educated to HNC, HND or Degree level in Electrical Engineering
* Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment
* Experience in Engineering Management or possessing strong leadership skills as a Senior Engineer
* Experience in Commissioning
* Experience in PLC programming
