To be successful candidate you will be multi-skilled with strong leadership skills to work collaboratively. You will be responsible for people management and development with a team of Electrical Design engineers managing certification and design issues relating to electrical equipment for aircraft modifications.
As the Electrical Engineering manager, you will help to lead the Electrical team responsible for certifying and reviewing engineering documents and instructions for airworthiness.
- Possesses an understanding of engineering job practices, certification techniques, industry standards, theories and concepts
- Act as a representative during customer meetings in support of upcoming projects
- Drive the development and execution of technical projects and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set effective operational goals while leading the execution of solution-based engineering through effective resource allocation and management
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports
- Assist in leading the execution of electrical/avionics engineering activities
- Managing employee performance and implement functional excellence in people, processes and practices
Required Skills
- 8 years+ of relevant experience with Aerospace/Aeronautical
- Leadership skills desirable
- Knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements, relevant to electrical systems
- High level attention to aircraft modifications and introduction of new electrical or electronic equipment
- Degree with Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
- A true people partner with established in managing experienced and junior engineers with a demonstrated track record of growing and building highly effective distributed teams. Comfortable in a dynamic, matrixed environment with ability to adapt to various technologies and situation
