Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, evaluating costs, and providing accurate estimates. Your expertise in cost control and project estimation will contribute to the success of our organization. Duties: - Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements - Conduct thorough cost analysis and estimation for materials, labor, and equipment - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates - Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and reports for management review - Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings during the estimation process - Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure accurate estimations - Participate in bid meetings and negotiations with clients Experience: - Proven experience as an Estimator or similar role in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques - Proficient in using estimating software and tools - Excellent mathematical skills with attention to detail - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications - Strong communication and negotiation skills We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Salary: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
