Due to continued growth, Briggs & Forrester Living’s Northern Region have an immediate vacancy for an Electrical Estimator to join our highly successful Pre-Contract Estimating Team based in Warrington. This is a permanent, office-based position.
Briggs & Forrester Living solely focus on mechanical, electrical and public health services installation within high end residential, student accommodation, hotel and care home projects.
The appointed candidate will be responsible for:
- Production of detailed tender bids and cost plans
- Attending mid and post tender meetings
- Post tender control
- Interfacing with both our existing and prospective new clients
- Communication and interfacing with sub-contractor and supplier companies, using existing companies and generating new leads
The position will involve day-to-day management of the tender process to ensure standards are maintained and deadlines are met. Whilst electrically biased, the position also demands a wide knowledge of mechanical engineering services. Candidates will need to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the industry and will have experience in a wide range of sectors, preferably including residential, hotel, student accommodation and care home projects.
