Red Rock Consultants are recruiting for an Electrical Estimator for a tier 1 M&E contractor based in Warrington.

Job Description

Due to continuous expansion, our client is currently seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic Pre-Contract estimating team located in Warrington.

Our client specializes in the design and installation of mechanical, electrical, and public health services, focusing primarily on prestigious residential, student accommodation, hotel, and care home projects.

This role primarily operates from our office premises, reflecting our commitment to efficient tender and preconstruction processes. However, we offer occasional flexible or remote working arrangements depending on workload requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed tender bids and cost plans

- Attend mid and post-tender meetings

- Maintain post-tender control

- Engage with existing and prospective clients

- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, nurturing existing relationships and cultivating new opportunities

This position entails overseeing the day-to-day management of the tender process, ensuring adherence to standards and meeting deadlines. While the role is electrically focused, a broad understanding of mechanical engineering services is also essential. Ideal candidates will demonstrate extensive industry knowledge, preferably across various sectors, including residential, hotel, student accommodation, and care home projects.

• Working seamlessly within an integrated M&E team
