A reputable company, specialising in electrical contracting services, seeks to expand its team in Newry. With over 40 years of experience across various sectors, including Industrial, Commercial, and Domestic Construction, this company offers a compelling opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join their ranks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and submit compliant tenders using estimating templates/software within client deadlines.
- Report directly to the Senior Electrical Estimator, collaborating effectively within the Estimating Team.
- Resolve queries to secure projects efficiently.
- Cultivate and sustain a robust network of contacts.
- Facilitate the smooth handover of secured projects to the Contracts team, ensuring detailed BOQ & Budgets.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Junior Electrical Estimator/QS within the Construction sector.
- Proficient secondary education, showcasing strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Technical expertise in electrical installations, spanning from domestic to large commercial/industrial projects.
- Competence in interpreting and analysing electrical drawings to determine project costs.
- Deadline-oriented mindset coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid IT proficiency.
