I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key client based in the South, who are specialists in engineering projects within the chemical, O&G & process industries. They are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer from a design and project background, on an initial 6-month contract, to support a key project.
The successful Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer will be required to conduct the following duties:
* Design and detailing using AutoCAD & Amtech
* Cable sizing calcs etc
* Support client reviews of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering deliverables
* Oversee & coordinate the project deliverables in line with defined and approved requirements
* Support client tendering, estimating and procurement processes
* Provide E & I technical support & knowledge to ensure standards are met
The successful Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
* Preferably Educated to HND/Degree level in Electrical or Process (EC&I) Engineering
* Demonstrating relevant practical experience
* Experience in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
* Commercial project experience
* Ability to check technical designs to specification
* Experience in managing safety instrumented systems is preferred
* A high level of communication skills (verbal and written)
