Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Imerys Minerals Ltd - Fowey Office, Fowey Docks, Fowey, Cornwall, PL23 1AL

Salary: Up to £40,908.40 per annum dependant on experience (this is inclusive of chargehand payment and shift payment)

Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, working on an alternating shift pattern:

Week 1 - Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm

Week 2 - Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

An excellent opportunity has come up at our Fowey Docks, where you will provide electrical, and some mechanical, support for our fixed plant equipment, maintain plant availability, and carry out plant shutdown tasks.

You will be supported by an experienced team, and following your induction and training, be given full autonomy in your role.

Candidate requirements:

• An experienced electrical engineer with either an Indentured electrical/ multi-skilled engineering apprenticeship or Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (NVQ level 3 with BTec Level 3), and/ or be cross skilled from electrical to mechanical equivalent
• ONC/ HNC qualifications would be beneficial
• Have a sound understanding of predominantly electrical, and some mechanical maintenance including fixed processing plant - including fans, filters, mills, conveyors, packaging, etc.
• Are able to fault find and resolve electrical and mechanical.
• Have good communication skills and are a team player.
• Are IT literate and preferably have experience in using ERP systems
• A Full UK driving licence

This role does involve working at heights of up to 25 metres on a Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) and working in all weather conditions.
