The Electrical Maintenance Technician role:
They are looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with a background in machine repair, PPM and problem solving at their Barnsley site.
The role involves working as part of a small team to carry out, in accordance with the relevant legislation and safe systems of work.
Key responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Technician role:
- Production plant and equipment maintenance
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Day to day machine breakdown resolution
To fulfill the Electrical Maintenance Technician role, you must:
- Be an experienced multi-skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 4 years industrial experience, NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent.
- Have previous experience in a fast paced engineering environment.
- Work a 4 shift rota, 7 days.
- Be computer literate with experience of CMMS systems
- Be able to work under your own initiative
- Be willing to work overtime to cover spikes in production demand and holiday/sickness cover within the department.
