Description
The Electrical Maintenance Technician (Days) will work days Mon-Fri and have the option of working a 4 day week, 4.5 day week or 5 day week. They will be responsible for:
- Prepare equipment ready for job changes and potential break downs, ensuring equipment meets necessary specifications for the new job
- Take part in job changes, setting up and adjusting inspection equipment as necessary to maintain efficient operations during and after the job change
- Provide support for critical plant functions as and when required
- Identify and rectify faults with cold end equipment to maintain efficiency and reduce downtime
- Complete SAP and production logs as each job is completed to establish and maintain a well-informed team
- Work as part of an effective team to manage & control the workload throughout the shift
Profile
The successful Electrical Maintenance Technician (days) will have:
- Gained a recognised Apprenticeship in electrical engineering (or equivalent).
- Fault finding skills. Ideallly experience of PLC work.
- Manufacturing based environment.
- Commitment and enthusiasm to support a 24-hour process, and ability to work under pressure
- Health, safety & hygiene awareness.
- Industry Specific training will be given.
Job Offer
The Electrical Maintenance Technician (days)
- Minimum £30,748 - £37,901 per annum (Starting Salary dependant upon skills and experience)
- Salary sacrifice pension scheme with up to 10% matched contributions
- 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday or Condensed working hours available (4 days), (4.5 days), typically 7am start. This is a day work only role but with opportunities to progress into days and afters, shift engineering and teamleading roles for the right people with the right attitude and developed skill base.
