SalaryCK Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a chemical company at their site based in Wigan on a permanent basis.
The Company:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of polymers and resins.
Salary:
£20.00 per hour (PAYE). The hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm with occasional overtime.
Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Wigan but may include occasional travel to our client's other sites in the area.
Maintenance Technician Role:
Your main duties will be:
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance on production and utilities equipment.
- The electrical installation and testing of plant equipment.
- Fault finding and repair of faulty equipment.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have
- A completed city & guilds qualification in Electrical Maintenance.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, ideally chemical manufacturing or a similar process industry.
- Strong experience in maintenance, fault finding and repair.
- Prior experience on ATEX/COMAH regulated sites would be highly desirable.
