Electrical Service Engineer

BASIC SALARY: Up to £55,000

This is an Electrical / PLC Service Engineer role, split between a workshop based position in Corby (around 70%), and visiting customer sites across the UK. Almost all of this work is scheduled and staying away for a few days at a time on installation, commissioning, maintenance projects on industrial capital equipment for the food and pharmaceutical sectors.  
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:Electrical Service Engineer, Commissioning, Installation, Maintenance, Multiskilled Service Engineer, Controls Engineer - PLC, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi
 
· Experienced multiskilled / electrical engineering specialist - with familiarity of drives, robotics, servos, automation, electric motors.
· The ability to fault find / debug and modify PLC programming. Comfortable with the principals of PLC coding.
· Happy to stay away on scheduled appointments and very occasional reactionary work across the UK.

PROSPECTS:
 
This role will evolve with your experience to expand responsibilities as you become an expert on this niche range of equipment - following extensive training, including periods in Italy.
