Electrical Service Engineer

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for an Electrical Service Engineer to work with one of their well-established clients who specialise in Generators and temporary Power Solutions.

Principle Responsibilities for the Electrical Service Engineer :-

• Carry out routine service, maintenance and repairs as required to a fleet of generators and Bowsers.
• Responsible for maintaining all rental equipment including test and inspection and the preparation of equipment for rental purposes.
• Organising the storage of all fleet and equipment to ensure that the workshop areas are well organised and kept tidy.
• Responsible for loading of equipment / liaising with the team to ensure equipment is dispatched by internal or external transport.
• Comply with the company health and safety policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are kept to a high standard.

Person specification:-

• Ideally you will have at last 2 years’ experience of Mechanical or electrical engineering.

• A good technical knowledge of Power Generators or Electrical/Mechanical Machinery

• Relevant experience or qualifications within the Power Industry

• Be competent in electrical engineering systems.

• Have experience in fault finding / diagnostics.

• Must be able to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure in an ever-changing demanding hire environment.

• Good communication skills and an understanding of the importance of providing excellent customer service.

This is a full time permanent Electrical Service Engineer position, offering an annual salary of up to £45,000 PA plus annual company benefits to include a company vehicle, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme and free car parking.
