Electrical Technician / Panel Wirer

I am currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician / Panel Wireman for an Engineering company in Newcastle

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following.

• Wiring and assembly of components for industrial machinery up to control cabinets and panels.
• Crimping, routing and cable terminating work on control panels.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematic wiring accordingly.
• Mechanical assembly.
• Electrical assembly.
• Use of hand tools.

The Candidate

• To be successful in the role of Panel Wirer you will have the following.
• Experience with point-to-point wiring.
• Possess an understanding of the requirements for the correct assembly of all electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, as well as experience stripping, crimping, and terminating all cables Ability to understand and manufacture to GA and schematic drawings.
• Control panel wiring experience.
• Cable routing.
• Experience of electrical assembling and wiring of control panels.
• Ability to act as a stand-alone operator on any given project.
