Electrician – Covering Fareham
Full Time – 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 p/a + company van & fuel card

Our client is one of the largest maintenance contractors in the UK, providing building maintenance, facilities management, refurbishment, and construction services. They cover all aspects of social housing property repairs, including responsive, planned, void maintenance and dis-repairs contracts.

Your Responsibilities:
- Undertake Electrical test and inspection
- Reactive repairs and fault finding
- Full domestic electrical rewiring
- Carry out Planned and Reactive Maintenance tasks including PAT, Electrical Condition Reports (fixed wiring), Emergency Lighting testing and Fire Alarm Testing
- Involvement in maintenance of UPS, Generators and servicing including load tests
The successful candidate will have:
- REQUIRED: City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition Electrical Regulations
- REQUIRED: City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent 2394 - 2395
- 18th Edition Electrical Regulations – working knowledge desirable
- NVQ 3 in electrical installation
- A strong background in social housing maintenance contracts (responsive, void, planned)
- 2 – 5 yrs. experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools for the job
