Vacancy: Electrical tester/installer

Due to our continued success and growth, we have an opportunity for a full-time direct employed tester/installer to join our dynamic team.

We are searching for a commercial/domestic electrical tester to fill a full-time position at our fast-growing, family run company.

We specialize in demolition and construction based temporary services and require electrical inspection & testing, with a client focused approach. Our prestigious client base takes us to all types of installations, from demolition/construction sites, commercial office buildings to the high street and government buildings.

Duties will include:

Full inspection & testing procedures to comply with BS7671.

Producing EIC’s and EICR’s & defect lists.

Generating materials lists.

Manage your own schedule and issue 3 monthly reminders and quotations to clients.

Quality checks and regular site visits to produce audit reports

The ideal candidate will:

Have a good understanding of wiring regulations & compliance

Have good written and verbal skills

Able to effectively liaise with Clients and represent us in a professional manor

Be experienced using a laptop to create reports (Microsoft Word & Easycert)

Experience with common electrical certification software (bespoke training given)

Qualifications/Skills required:

18th Edition

2391 OR 2394/2395

Be experienced using a laptop

Full UK drivers Licence is essential

Minimum of 3 years’ experience

Structured electrical training including, City and Guilds etc

The role comes with pension, holidays and more. Salary dependent on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22.00-£26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
