The company
Based in South Essex, you will be joining a purpose-built design and engineering premises for chemical manufacturing feeding into a wide range of industries, including the pharmaceutical industry. They are now looking to employ an Electrical technician to work on their wide range of bespoke machinery.
Job responsibilities:
- Installation of electrical control panels
- Working with several types of cable management; tray, basket, trunking etc.
- Prepare and install cable management systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Working on customer sites to install, commission and service machinery.
This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other tasks will be involved.
Skills and experience needed:
- Knowledge and experience with control and machine components
- Able to work with different types of cable management
- Knowledge of cable types is required for a project and installed accordingly.
- Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Understanding Electrical Wiring diagrams for component identification, cable terminations and differentiation from a panel device to a field mounted device, contractors, relays, and motors.
