We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer to join a market leading company. Reporting directly to the Service Manager you will be a key member in ensuring customer products are kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to an engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Role Description
- Deliver robust and reliable paper void fill machines which are used by companies across UK and Europe
- Provide a road map of upgrades needed across our fleet of machines and proactively look for improvements to ensure our customers' needs are met.
- Conducting routine inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Work with the Operations Manager to project plan and introduce a new portfolio of paper systems to add to our range.
- Maintaining our Asset Management System ensuring all records are accurate.
To be successful in the position you will have the following:
- Proven experience in electronics engineering and programming within a manufacturing unit
- Inspection and Testing
- Proficient in programming
- Sound understanding of Health, Safety and environmental legislation and working practices.
- A commitment to achieve continuous improvement.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and order fulfilment.
· Adaptable to the needs of the business
Full and clean driving license

Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 Years' experience with a similar industry
- Ideally a degree
