Electrician
Randstad Engineering are currently recruiting for an Electrician to work for Catnic in Caerphilly (CF83 3GL). This is a permanent role paying £33,575 per annum.
Initial shift pattern will see you working 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 12.30pm on a Friday. There will be plenty of opportunity for overtime, if you wish to take it.
About the position
As an Electrician on site, you will support the Operations team by performing any necessary repairs: undertaking preventative maintenance activities and facilitating the promotion of engineering solutions for process improvement to ensure productivity is optimised.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair processing machinery and ancillary equipment to good standards and in conformance with all Company procedures.
- Contribute to the coordination of preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
- Recommend improvements to production control procedures to support team performance objectives.
The ideal candidate will:
- Must be a time-served electrician
- Qualified to HNC level (or equivalent)
- Have experience of high volume manufacturing
- A good knowledge of PLC's
- Have an understanding of servo drives
