- £1,500 joining bonus

- ALL Commercial work, usually 1 site a day

The opportunity:

Are you an Electrical professional who has hit a bit of a glass ceiling? Maybe your role is becoming a little stagnant with no real training, career or development? Or maybe you are working all over the UK all the time and massive working weeks (hours wise)? Or maybe looking to take a slight step away "from the tools" in a more career focused role?

On that basis, we are looking for an electrical professional who wants to work for a UK leading testing & Inspection company. A real career focus with stable and local work with future opportunities as well.

And WOW, some huge earning potential here. We have detailed below, but a guarantee of £37,900 with earning potential of easily above £60k+ as well a £4k car allowance to go on top of all that.

And throw in a £1,500 joinig bonus too!

It's all about you:

We're really open to the person, but essentially an electrical professional who wants to forge a career within testing & Inspection. We don't expect you to have actually done such a role before - but someone who wants this rare opportunity in a real career focused role.

We need fully qualified electrical professionals (apprenticeship, level 3 etc.) and a 2391 & 18th Edition would also be lovely.

But we are more focused in getting the right personality in who wants further training and want to move up in a company who have a track record of looking after their employees all over the UK.

The role itself:

Once you're trained up, you will be testing & inspecting circuits around social housing, staying local to yourself most the time, odd work away (where you get £30 a night if so).

To paint a picture, we have a team who will set your day up on 1 visit a day basically where you will be carrying out testing and inspection of circuits across commercial properties.

The further trained you are (and your salary goes up), the more complex sites you will be going on so there is always further development for you. There may be some working away, but you will get some cold hard cash to compensate if so.

The package & how it works:

We want to offer our team real earning potential - it's why we all come to work right? As part of our interview process, we get you to talk to our engineers and ask them anything, as it is a little complicated, but in simple terms:

• A basic / minimum / safety net day rate of around £146 p/d (of something goes wrong like flat tyre / Just Stop Oil protester in the road (£37,900 per annum)
• More you do in a day, more you get. In reality, you're looking at £215 p/d+ (£55k per annum)
• LOADS of overtime - if you want (completely your call) some weekend work, real earning potential there too
• Top earner last year (in UK team of 40 engineers) got £72k in a year
• Manage your own diary so real flexibility
• If working away, £30 per night as well
• Car allowance so your travel is covered
