Form of workOur client is one of the UK's leading providers of electrical safety services, inspection, testing and fixed installations. They offer legislation and technical support for their customers to ensure that all legal requirements comply with the law is always maintained and they are looking for an experienced Electrician in Watford.
Purpose:
To maintain emergency lighting and electrical systems to make sure that they are safe whilst operating within their designed capacity and complying with BS 5266-1:2016 Emergency lighting code of practice, and BS7671 18th edition of the wiring regulations.
Main Duties:
- Deliver a high-quality service at all times
- Report any lighting / electrical safety issues to the customer
- Report any site specific lamp / access / information useful for follow-up visits
- Update & maintain the company web reporting facility
- Communication with Head Office must be regular and as agreed
- Engineers are expected to know / learn the technical description of all emergency lighting luminaires, lamps and fittings
Essential Qualifications:
- City & Guilds 2351 or 2330 or 2360 Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level3 in Electro-Technical Services
- 18th edition BS7671
- Clean Driver’s Licence
Offer:
- Full time position with an immediate start
- Salary Bracket: £40K
- 40 hours a week (8 hours on site plus travel)
