I am looking for a person who is a Grad/HNC with 2 years++ working in industry, a sharp minded curious and creative problem solver who is able to contribute good ideas and deliver functional hardware solutions to deliver world class products.

This would an ideal role for a Second/Third “Jobber” who is currently not challenged or looking for an exiting new product set or industry to work on.

Based in Basingstoke, this is an office based role.

A communications product specialists, developing and deploying a variety of hardware and software-based solutions to customers in a wide range of industries; particularly in healthcare and the emergency services. Electronics Design Engineer

Designing, testing and debugging hardware components and systems Analogue & Digital

Developing and implementing hardware specifications and standards

Collaborating with the team to ensure compatibility and functionality

Troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues and failures

Documenting and presenting hardware designs and results

Work with Product Managers for feasible project options

Translating technical aspects to Product managers

Schematic Capture and PCB Design

KEY FUNCTIONS

Ensure that the project is completed to spec from start to finish which meets the

agreed cost, performance and timescale

As necessary, act as project lead during planning and development phases all

allocated by the Head of Hardware Development

Liaise with QA, Design services, manufacturing engineering and customer service

department’s to ensure that the design is cost effective, optimum, safe, suitable

for manufacture and complies with appropriate legislations and regulations

Prepare detailed technical documentation

Technical involvement is some or all aspects of developing projects.

Ensure that there is clear communication between the team, the Product Owner,

and any other stakeholders.

Supervise / assist if required by junior development personnel

Any reasonable tasks as required within the department
