Cranleigh STEM is working with an organisation that specialises in the design and manufacture of sensors and systems for the maritime, environmental, defence, and industrial markets.
We are looking for a skilled Electronic Design Engineer to join its team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will play a key role, in working on the design and development of instrumentation and acoustic systems.
To be considered you should hold a degree in electronic engineering and possess experience in analogue and digital circuit design, preferably in an instrumentation development environment.

- Electronic modelling
- Schematic Design
- Printed Circuit layout
- Design documentation.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5, (7.5-hour Days)

Location: Yateley, Hampshire
Responsibilities:
- Mixed signal design including pre-amplifiers, filters, power supplies, interfacing and analog-digital conversion for precision instrumentation applications.
- New and existing product development - design, test, fault finding, improvement and enhancement.
- Work independently or as a team member contributing to all aspects of the product development cycle from requirement analysis through design & development into production.
- Produce design documentation and test specifications.
- Provide technical support for bidding/proposal writing and technical assistance to the Customer Support and Production departments.
- Support to Production Department test engineers.
- Occasional offshore support as required including some overseas travel.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in electronics engineering.
- Experience and specific expertise in analogue circuit design, preferably in an instrumentation development environment.
- Knowledge of Assembler and embedded 'C', FPGA technologies - VHDL / Verilog, Linux.
- Some experience or knowledge of microcontroller-based circuit design and embedded software would be beneficial but not essential.
