AddressElectronics Design Engineer – Fareham, Hampshire – Permanent – Salary Negotiable circa £50,000-£60,000
In this role you will be working as part of a small and highly skilled R&D team on the design of niche Electronics Systems that are used for animal conservation purposes.
The role gives you exposure to the full lifecycle of design and development, through to manufacture and deployment support. Travel is not mandatory but, for those wishing to do so, there is optional involvement in product deployments in places such as America and New Zealand.
The role is a fairly typical mix of Embedded C Software development for Microcontroller targets and Electronics Hardware design such as Schematics and PCB Layout.
This is a varied role where you will be exposed to everything from Power Electronics through to Digital, Analogue and Firmware. You are not expected to be an expert in all of these things but willing and capable of finding appropriate solutions to challenges and learning on the job as required.
