I'm working with an exciting small early-stage Biotechnology / Medical Device company on hiring for a Electronics Engineer. They've developed a new and innovative approach to analysing cells, with the potential to help companies react in real time, enabling a low-cost, portable and scalable alternative.
Role: Electronics Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Planning, developing, implementing, and testing the electronic PCBs within the instrument.
- Working to regulatory standards throughout a development life cycle (ISO9001).
- Creating and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Performing design reviews at all stages of the development process
- Working as part of a highly multi-disciplinary design team within the Agile SCRUM framework
- Manage relationships with external contractors and manufacturers for the development and manufacture of the PCBs that form the heart of our instrument.
- Manage inventory of electronic components
Requirements:
- BSc / MEng in Electronic Engineering
- Proficient in OrCAD schematic capture and PCB Layout Tools (2+ years experience)
- Proficient with soldering and PCB rework
Desirable Skills
- Mechanical design tools for PCB stack-up verification
- Experience with HDL and FPGAs
- Experience in designing JESD204b/c high speed interfaces
- Experience working within the Agile SCRUM framework
