SalaryK9 Electronics is a small expanding company, specialising in the design development and production of various products used by the Police and Military organisations around the world.
We currently have a full time vacancy for a Electronics Technician working at our offices in Northampton.
As a Electronics Technician you will be testing, assembling and modifying the companies products.
This is a very hands on vacancy, so we are looking for candidates that can think outside the box and have a keen interest in electronics.
The applicant must be able to demonstrate a keen interest in electronics design test and manufaturing. Experience with arduino, python, microcontrollers would be an advantage. You must have good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, and Excel.
You must be good in analytical thinking with good manual dexterity. You will be involved in product development, rapid prototyping, microcontroller programming, electronic testing, assembly, design and pcb design. Use of Lab equipment including analysers, oscilloscopes, signal generators etc. On the job training will be given to the right applicant. It is esential that you have a good command of written and spoken english as good communication skills is essential.
There maybe be some local and international travel to vist clients and to attend exhibitions.
