OpenBet is hiring for a Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Analyst to support the corporate compliance program, covering Europe, Africa, and Latin America. The role will act as a subject matter expert on compliance research and analysis to ensure all licensing and due diligence is performed in accordance with the company’s compliance plan. This position will conduct research on international gaming regulatory issues, such as licensing requirements, anti-money laundering laws, and technical product requirements. This position will be responsible for conducting complicated due diligence research and analysis on vendors, customers, and suppliers to ensure these entities are suitable to work with. This position will have a variety of other responsibilities including performing administrative duties such as compliance database administration and coordination with internal and external partners to meet compliance department goals. In this critical analytical role, senior company leaders will be relying on the selected candidate’s experience and judgment to inform them when making significant compliance and regulatory decisions.
Responsible for initiating and tracking due diligence investigation of potential customers, vendors, suppliers, contractors, consultants, and others.
Responsible for conducting prompt, thorough and impartial research analysis and preparing reports of findings, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations under the direction of a compliance officer.
Utilize technical information to make an independent decisions and recommendations to supervising compliance department personnel.
Support senior compliance leadership in preparing reports to company compliance committee.
Complete miscellaneous/administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training, experience and education preferred.
Minimum seven (7) years of compliance experience.
Experience in the gaming industry is highly desirable, but not required.
Experience dealing with international privacy and/or anti-money laundering regulations is highly desirable, but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in conducting internet research, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, software applications, databases and spreadsheets.
Proficient in English language.
This position is hybrid, 2 days a week in the office which is located in Chiswick. Days in the office and working hours are flexible.
