Join our team as the EMEA Sourcing Associate and join an innovative and dynamic Group Procurement team in our successful EMEA business.

What role will you play?

Reporting into the EMEA Sourcing Director, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of EMEA strategic sourcing initiatives across professional services, corporate services, HR and technology category spend. Working in this vibrant and inclusive team you’ll be engaging closely with senior colleagues in EMEA and other regions to deliver value for your business stakeholders.

You will assist with supplier selection processes and optimise value through effective tendering and competitive benchmarking processes. You will work independently to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting research on capabilities, pricing and competitiveness to support your recommendations. You will also be supporting senior team members with project management and governance support in the delivery of strategic sourcing projects.

What you offer

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement or sourcing roles, preferably within the financial services industry (or similar regulated environment) and knowledge of sourcing best practice.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and ability to independently interpret data, draw conclusions and make actionable recommendations.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team and geographically dispersed team environment.
