Employee Relations Advisor

We are seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join our clients Human Resources team. The successful candidate will have a background in human resources and a strong understanding of Employee Relations within a financial services setting.

Description

As Employee Relations Advisor your responsibilities will include

• Provide expert advice on Employee Relations issues
• Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Manage complex Employee Relations cases
• Develop and deliver training on HR topics
• Act as a key point of contact for HR queries
• Supporting diversity and inclusion. Giving accurate. And appropriate advice, training and support to managers.
• Work closely with the HR team to drive employee engagement initiatives
• Support the development of HR strategy
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practices

Profile

A successful Employee Relations Advisor should have:

• An excellent understanding of UK employment law and a track record in keeping up to date with legislative development.
• Good understanding of the role of legislation in progressing issues of diversity.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of employment law
• Proven ability to manage complex Employee Relations issues
• Demonstrated experience in delivering HR training

CIPD member or equivalent.

Employment law qualification or mediation qualification is a bonus.
