Bexley Business & Employment is based at Atrium Court in Erith and we have been providing support for unemployed/underemployed Bexley residents for more than 20 years. We offer a menu of support from which participants can pick including individually tailored advice and guidance around job search and employment, support to gain employability skills, computerised job search facilities and access to local vacancies.
About the Role
As a Client Advisor on the Work & Health programme you will work with adult job seekers who are preparing to move into employment, helping them to identify and address the barriers that make this difficult by providing exemplary case management, including support, advice, advocacy and signposting to relevant services.
You will develop and maintain an action plan with each job seeker, agreeing a range of range activities, to enable and inspire individuals to achieve sustained employment and non-employment progression measures, including improving wellbeing, self-confidence and level of independence.
You will work in partnership with a wide variety of local agencies and colleagues within the team to provide the best support to individuals.
