Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s JET service are on a mission to empower economically inactive individuals to achieve sustainable employment and create lasting positive change.
Our team is dynamic, diverse, and dedicated to making a difference in priority neighbourhoods and citywide.
As an Employment Advisor, you will be at the forefront of transforming lives by providing personalised support services.
Your mission is to equip participants with the skills, motivation, and confidence needed to transition into suitable, sustainable employment, whilst drawing on support from local stakeholders.
You'll be the driving force behind creating success stories and fostering a community of empowered individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with individuals in priority neighbourhoods and citywide
• Provide personalised employability support tailored to each participant’s unique needs
• Motivate and empower participants to develop the skills necessary to move closer to being employed
• Offer in-work support services through a variety of options
• Be a beacon of inspiration for positive change within the community working alongside other front-line services.
