Employment Tax Manager (Contract)

Pure are partnered with a well-known FTSE Group to find an Employment Tax Manager to cover a 10-month contract. This role is suitable for a strong business partner, who is not afraid to play a hands-on role in a variety of compliance & advisory-related duties.
Reporting into the Head of Tax, your key responsibilities will be:

• Complete the 2023/24 PSA for the UK trading company and head office.
• Support IR35 rule compliance, review agency agreements, and assess employment status.
• Update Employment Tax documentation and monitor risk areas.
• Identify employees needing overseas tax returns and manage s690 agreements with HMRC.
• Assist with PAYE and payroll arrangements for non-UK resident directors.
• Maintain business partner relationships and address Employment Tax queries.
• Keep updated on legislative changes and collaborate with HR and Payroll for NIC relief claims.
• Assist with pensions matters, including governance meetings, cashflow management, and preparing for auto-enrolment in Ireland by January 2025.
• Demonstrate organisation, reliability, good communication skills, attention to detail, relevant professional qualifications, and enthusiasm for learning and building relationships.
