Do you come from a background in Desktop support or End User Computing and are looking for a role which will give you the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team, working on a project which will involve working on a broad range of IT related activities? Then this could be the role for you! Our client is looking for an End User Computing Engineer, to join their rapidly expanding team to be a part of the company's on-going digital transformation project. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, working in and would be the key link between the organisation's helpdesk and EUC team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide both on-site and remote support and repairs for the company's desktop related infrastructure.
- Solve any End User Computing related problems in accordance with an agreed timescale, or ensure it is properly escalated further.
- Effectively support the service desk and ensure all SLAs are fully met.
- Ensure all work carried out is fully and clearly logged and documented.
- Travel to other company sites when necessary.
Looking for someone who:
- Has prior experience working in Desktop support or End User Computing role and has worked with a variety of desktop technologies including Active Directory, Office 365, group policy management, Intune, and Windows 7/10.
- Has demonstrable experience with SCCM and PXE booting.
- Can think on their feet and effectively solve technical problems to a high ability.
- Has excellent verbal and written communications skills and can effectively explain technical related issues or resolutions with 3rd party vendors and individuals with varying technical knowledge.
- Has a Full UK driving license.
