Are you a seasoned IT professional with a knack for solving complex issues?
I'm looking for a talented individual to join a global cross-disciplined Agile Team, dedicated to enhancing Endpoint Security for my Blue Chip client based in Glasgow.
As an Endpoint Security Engineer, you'll use your extensive experience in enterprise-scaled on-prem and cloud environments to architect and engineer innovative solutions. Your role will involve delving into Windows Infrastructure and Security internals, automating processes, and troubleshooting in environments comprising over 50,000 endpoints.
What I'm Looking For:
- Over a decade of hands-on experience in Enterprise IT
- Strong skills in designing and engineering solutions, from Proof of Concept to Production
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments
- Excellent Scripting skills in languages like PowerShell or Python
- A keen interest in Cyber Security technologies
Desired Skills:
- Experience of working in a DevOps/SRE environment
- Familiarity with Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection and other Microsoft E5 security products
- Expertise in disk encryption and operating system hardening
- Experience with Defender for Cloud Apps, Splunk, SCCM/Intune
- Ability to troubleshoot across hardware, OS, network, and storage
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and continual service improvement
As part of the Hybrid working pattern, flexibility to work 2-3 days onsite weekly is expected.
