What you’ll be doing:
As our Engagement Officer, you’ll be responsible for providing a support service to more than 500 employers in the fund ensuring they understand their complete range of responsibilities. You’ll deliver training, information, and support to employers through a range of methods, from formal presentations and workshops to informal engagement and training in addition to more innovative online support, such as webinars and training videos.
In this varied role, you’ll work collaboratively to ensure that all employers joining the fund are “onboarded” and will assist in the completion of legal responsibilities.
You’ll be joining our Employer Services Team which have two primary functions, one is to ensure all employers are compliant and adhere to the Administrative Strategy and the other is to improve our engagement with our customers, primarily employers.
This is an agile role and you may need to visit employers in the South Yorkshire Area.
What you’ll be able to offer:
You’ll bring your considerable experience and expertise of delivering training to this role to make it a success. Educated to A-level standard or able to demonstrate your ability at an equivalent level, you’ll have a natural flair for presenting coupled with the ability to explain complex concepts to a range of individuals in a meaningful way.
Organised and adaptable, with excellent written and oral communication skills, you’ll be comfortable receiving technical guidance and being able to deliver training sessions in an understandable manner.
Above all, to be successful in this role we require our Engagement Officer to have extensive technical knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations.
