The project:
We’re part-way through development of Chicken Run: Eggstraction, a cross-platform multiplayer heist game, working with the incredible Netflix as our publisher. Help us ship this fantastic game and be a pivotal part of developing our upcoming titles, featuring both beloved and new IP.
We’re seeking engineers who crave creative influence, cherish transparency, and aspire to craft memorable games. But at our studio, you're not just building games; you'll help shape our unique culture and our influence our whole approach to development.
At Aardman, you’ll actively participate in defining technical goals, architecting solutions, and showcasing your work at industry events, and you’ll have agency and comprehensive support throughout each project. Core:
•Help us build high quality games with UE5, on PC and next-gen consoles, as a generalist, or specialising in gameplay, systems, graphics, AI, multiplayer, or
live services.
•Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
•Work closely with artists, designers, and other developers to realise the game's vision.
•Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues.
•Document code and development processes.
•Support the build and iteration of our various development and production workflows.
•Continually develop new skills and techniques.
More Senior:
•Take ownership of large features and systems with considerable autonomy and risk management.
•Help define and create the best practices, tools, and environment for the studio to do its best work.
•Help coach and develop relevant skills and approaches throughout the studio.
•Help drive development of our new IP, touching all aspects of the game.
•Research and integrate new technologies and techniques to keep the game at the cutting edge.
•Effectively communicate with stakeholders about technical aspects.
