Job description

This role is an exciting opportunity to have real input of the development Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and working in a high performing team. Working in our Access Management team, the Engineer will play a major part in working in successful Access Management function across the organisation and will be instrumental in driving improvements to improve control and reduce risk.

This key role will encompass being a subject matter expert across both the PAM Team and the Society. You’ll contribute to setting the agenda and the direction of travel on PAM transformation work, being a leading influence across the business.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be a Privileged Access Management (PAM) engineer who will support both by the team internally and stakeholders across the Business.  You will contribute support both the BAU and transformation agenda, using your influencing skills to ensure stakeholders at all levels understand and support the agenda.

You’ll also put your Privileged Access Management knowledge to good use, providing support alongside our senior engineers to change initiatives and colleagues across the Business to ensure they deliver in adherence to the Standard.

We work in an area that is audited regularly, so naturally you’ll assist in the provision of evidence for these audits as well as helping to remediate any gaps and close down audit findings.

In addition, you’ll be on a rota to provide out of hours support to the Business, ensuring any issues relating to Privileged Access Management are dealt with in a timely manner.

About you

  • Knowledge of CyberArk capabilities including Hybrid Environments (On-Prem, AWS, Azure).
  • Liaise across the business to support the PAM Service using the CyberArk application & understand requirements, disseminating product knowledge.
  • Knowledge of the Access Control and Privileged Access Management domains, including the Tools, Techniques and Procedures used.
  • Experience in creating detailed work breakdown structure for PAM implementation via CyberArk.
  • Driving and contributing to the evolution of our processes & documentation and you will take responsibility to seeing actions completed
  • You will understand the PAM Standards to help consult and provide guidance to our PAM customers, through use of option papers and appropriate documentation.
  • You will keep on trend with the industry and understand the PAM solution(s)
  • You will support the PAM Service community and knowledge bank, striving to make an efficient service
  • Stakeholder management and understand the audience you are engaging with
  • Experience of Information Security, and a solid IT background.
  • Excellent presentation and documentation skills.
