The Role:
Working as part of the transport projects team you will be responsible for designing and managing the implementation of highways projects. Normal duties will include producing construction drawings and the management and coordination of contractors, ensuring the quality and safety of works on site and addressing and
design queries.

About You:
You will be expected to be fully conversant with industry design standards and able to manage construction using the recognised best practices for NEC4 contracts. You will be responsible for feeding information into the council's CDM documentation. The successful candidate will have a good eye for detail and understand the payment mechanisms associated with current construction contracts.
