Ready to start your career? ENCIRC are recruiting for Engineer Apprentices to join the team at "The Park", a high-tech, award-winning bottling plant in Avonmouth, Bristol.
If you are looking to start your career in a fast paced & innovative business where every day brings new exciting, rewarding and sometimes unexpected challenges then this apprenticeship provides you with a fantastic opportunity to become a multiskilled Engineer by developing your skills whilst gaining an Engineering qualification.
Main Responsibility:
This role will enable you to become a multiskilled trained Engineer working with mechanical and electrical components including:
- Pumps
- Motors, Including servos.
- Gearwheels, belts, and pullies
- Invertors
- Conveyors
- Encoders
- Timers
- Contactors
- PLC's
- Safety Circuits
- Isolators
- 3 Phase, 240volt, 110v and 24-volt AC/DC
- Pneumatics cylinders, valves, and fittings
During your apprenticeship you will learn how to:
- Use a Lathe and a milling Machine.
- Basic welding
- Develop hand skills. (i.e. bench work with files, hack saws, marking out, drilling)
- Test motors, drives, safety circuits, cables, pumps, vacuum systems, pneumatics cylinders and valves.
- Fault finding
- Source and create parts on site.
- 3D Printing
The Key Requirements:
- 5 GCSEs at grade A -C / 9-4 including Maths & English.
- Have a desire to become a Multiskilled Engineer.
- Willingness to learn and follow instruction.
