Job Purpose:
To assist in the safe and efficient operation of the LPN Operations Team in Capital Programme.
Assisting Operational Staff to perform their duties efficiently by managing back-office duties as set out below.
Clear communication both written and verbal along with the capacity to learn and use new IT and processes as required.
Principal Accountabilities:
Manage and update the SAP Small Tools Database as well as third party databases.
Order and Manage PPE, Tools, Stationary and Other Consumables for the Team.
Print and Package Drawings, Prepare Commissioning Test Forms and Folders.
Manage and Update Resource Schedule (Sharepoint / MRS).
Update resources in OPC.
Manage Training, Fit for Work Assessments, Health Surveillance, Vehicle Servicing, MOT, PMI’s for HGV’s and Loler Inspections.
Record annual leave and other absences.
Manage the return and repair of Protection Relays back to manufacturers.
Organise and manage team briefs and safety briefings.
Management of drawings between Operations Team and Design including As-Builts and Test Forms.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
A basic understanding of the Network and the types of jobs undertaken.
An excellent administrator with the ability to motivate and bring staff to their full potential.
Relevant academic and/or technical qualifications and preferably a City & Guilds qualification in an Electrical or Construction based subject.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft desktop applications, P6, OPC, Autodesk Construction Cloud, SharePoint and SAP. (training provided where required)
Ability to build working relationships with colleagues and other teams within UKPN and also with external partners.
Ability to work as part of a highly focused team to meet tight deadlines and to work with others to achieve shared goals and optimise the contribution of the team.
The ability to use own initiative to solve problems, self-motivated with an ambition to achieve.
Excellent analytical, organisation & planning skills
Flexible attitude to work and working hours.
You will require a competent technical person with the ability to tackle several tasks and the ability to take on and learn new ones.
Health & Safety Responsibilities

Employees need to be aware that for some craft and operational roles that work at height, or use fall arrest devices, there is an upper weight limit of 116Kg due to maximum safe working load of the safety equipment that is used.
