The Role

Note:- British UK National capable of achieving Security Clearance (SC) only.

As Owner of our Secure IT infrastructure, you will: -

• Manage the build and run of the network, infrastructure, and endpoints, ensuring compliance with Capgemini Group s Cybersecurity policies and UK Government standards.
• Develop and implement technology & service roadmaps to a) grow the number of users within and outside of the Capgemini Engineering Global Business Line, making our Secure IT accessible to a wider population within the UK; b) adopts the latest industry standards to enable connectivity with Clients and reduce operating costs.
• Manage the contract with our Secure IT support provider to ensure compliance with their obligations and executing change requests where necessary to ensure effective and efficient delivery, as well as to scale the infrastructure.
• Manage the annual operating budget for Secure IT and recovery of costs from own and other units through defined service charging models.

As Sponsor of our use of Capgemini Group IT Services, you will: -

• Support GIT to complete the transition of legacy IT, including rationalising infrastructure and/or moving to new hosting solutions, where still required.
• Develop & communicate business enabling requirements to Group IT and approve and monitor the delivery of solutions which satisfy these requirements. These range from the provision of IT environments for the development of embedded software and systems to solutions which enable cyber-safe connectivity to Client owned IT and networks
• Review, challenge and approve charges from Group IT for the use of standard and premium services, to ensure they reflect the current needs and size of the unit

Your Profile

• 3 year+ higher education degree in relevant subject or equivalent practical experience
• Understanding of UK Government and Ministry of Defence IT Security standards for the handling and storage of classified information.
• Proven experience in IT management of on-premises networks and infrastructure, including Azure/AWS cloud, MFA, and SSO solutions.
• Knowledge and experience of off-premises cloud-based services, including Amazon Web Services and Azure, for Secure Applications is desirable
• Contract management of key suppliers along with financial management and budget planning
• Business and technology solution design, development, delivery and run.
• A service-orientated mindset to deliver best-in class enabling capability to users.
• Information Security Standards such as ISO 27001 and TISAX.
• Flexibility required for working away from home
• British UK National capable of achieving Security Clearance (SC).
