SalaryEducated Appointments are delighted to be supporting a rapidly expanding Group Training Association with training centres in Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe to hire an Engineering Lecturer.
Our client are an Ofsted graded 2 'Good' training provider, which delivers Apprenticeships and both standard and bespoke upskill training courses, providing accredited, industry recognised training from a beginner to an advanced level, all of our courses and standards are taught by highly experienced staff to ensure you receive the best possible training.
Main Purpose
We recruit industry specialists who want to make the career change to delivering training and skills.
We are looking for an individual with suitable ability and background who feels they have the right skills and attributes to pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers.
This position involves delivering a range of engineering subjects at Level 4 and Level 5 as part of the Engineering NC/HNC/HND programme the majority of which will be in Hull.
Responsibilities
Subjects to be taught may include:
- Electrical & Electronic Principles.
- Engineering Maths.
- Engineering Science.
- Instrumentation & Control Systems
- Electronic Circuits & Devices.
- Electrical Systems & Fault Finding.
- Further Control Systems.
- Industrial Power, Electronics & Storage.
There will also be a requirement to facilitate and assess engineering projects at L3 & L4 and research project work at Level 5.
Applicants must:
- Be degree qualified.
- Have at least five years relevant industry experience.
- Have excellent technical skills.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
A teaching qualification is desirable but full training would be given to the right applicant.
A full driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential as some travelling between training sites may be necessary.
