Engineering Manager

Your new companyYour new company is a Specialist Engineering business within Cumbria who operate at every point on the Engineering life cycle. They are at the forefront of technology within their field and have a number of high-end clients within the Nuclear and Defence industries. They are excelling within their field and hiring due to growth with an ongoing pipeline of work. Your new roleAs Engineering Manager, you will report to the Technical Director and have a number of direct reports. You will be responsible for day to day management of the engineering team, and ensure that projects / tasks are completed on a time and cost-efficient manner. You will have a strong input in the company's direction and vision both from a technical and strategic standpoint as well as management of the team. There is also scope in the business to achieve further promotions.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will have qualifications with an engineering discipline, a degree is preferable but not essential. Experience within the Nuclear/Defence sector is desirable but not a requirement. Knowledge of Design with a minimum of 5 years within the industry is required. This would be an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer looking for their next step in their career or an Engineering Manager looking for a new challenge.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive an excellent salary of between £55,000 - £65,000, but this is negotiable dependent experience. You will receive some excellent training & development in your role too, whether it is on the job training or additional qualifications.
