Engineering Manager

The UK's Legacy nuclear site is looking to bring on an experienced Engineering Manager to work on one of the largest frameworks on site for open of the best engineering firms in the UK.

• Job Title - Engineering Manager
• Location - Cumbria
• Contract Length - 12 Months
• Pay rates - £65 Hour

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager with a nuclear background to bring their expertise to a fantastic company on a really great project.

Daily Deliverables:

• Take the lead and co-ordinate the project through the design phase whilst working with the PM collaboratively.
• Manage and coordinate a multi-discipline team to deliver FEED projects and packages
• Be the focal point for all disciplines including new builds, demolitions and decommissioning, CE&I and mechanical installations.
• Have a vast background in delivering projects to schedules and budgets within a highly regulated sector.
• Have a good strong background in engineering and the relevant codes, knowledge and confidence to lead the team as the technical expert.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working on FEED projects
• Experience on EPC stages of Nuclear projects
• Experience managing multi-discipline teams on complex projects
• Engineering manager position holder
• Degree qualified (chartered preferred)
