Maintenance Planner (days)
Mylar Specialty Films have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner with a passion for continuous improvement, who will ensure that the safety and reliability of all plant equipment is maximised through the effective use of maintenance planning systems to optimise maintenance resources and planned equipment shutdowns. Reporting to the Site Maintenance Leader you will manage the maintenance planning schedule and the coordination of planned maintenance work including shutdown planning and resourcing ensuring safety, maintenance and operational requirements are met.
Qualifications and requirements:
- A suitable engineering qualification (e.g. HNC).
- Previous experience of planning, scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities.
- An understanding and working knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project).
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for chemical and machinery manufacturing plant equipment.
- An understanding of modern maintenance processes and techniques.
- Ability to work and communicate in a team, and to interface effectively with a broad section of personnel both internal and external to the company.
- Ability to organise and lead a team to complete planned maintenance activities.
- Adaptable and flexible to support on site outside of normal working hours when required.
- Knowledge of reliability centred maintenance and predictive maintenance techniques would be an advantage.

This role comes with a competitive remuneration package dependent on skills and experience including optional company pension, health, dental and vision cover. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a valid work permit, if required.
