SalaryOur client is a rapidly expanding SME who supply the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of products within the clean energy and nuclear sectors and due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit a Senior Design Engineer / Engineering Project Manager.
This is a highly varied role where you will manage a small team and oversee the whole lifecycle of design, development, and specification of new and existing pressure related products where typical design requirements include Pressure bearing components (up to 60,000 psi), Load bearing components and Specification of pressure control components (valves, pumps, and pipework etc). You need to be able to understand and interpret customer requirements and ensure designs conform to industry, customer, and company standards.
Key Skills:
- Extensive in Mechanical Design and managing projects
- Ideally some experience of pressure vessel design but not essential.
- Experience working with bespoke systems / machine design and manufacture.
- Design of electro-mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics or associated supply.
