Engineering Quality Inspector

Major Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our long-established client on a permanent basis.
Our client, a leading name in servicing pumps and gear boxes. Working with customers in the Oil and Gas, Energy and Water industries, worldwide.

Location: Consett
Pay: £29013 p/a with Overtime available on weekdays and weekends
Hours: 37Hrs a Week 07:30-16:00 Mon-Thurs, 07:30-12:30 on a Friday
Pension: 3% Company Pension
Holidays: 25 Days per Year
What you will be doing as a Quality Inspector:
* Quality check incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality standards are maintained.
* Make sure all documentation adheres to the company's quality standards, and ISO9001:2015
* Identify and report any issues in accordance with company procedures
* Raising faults and investigate noncompliance issues
* Ensure all customers QA/QC requirements are covered and documented.
* Prioritizing work to meet tight production deadlines
What our client is looking for in Quality Inspector:
* Experience of working with ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System
* Ability to read and interrupt engineering drawings
* Engineering/Manufacturing background, experience with pumps/rotating equipment would be advantageous.
* Proficient in hand measuring tools in both imperial and metric.
* Very well organised with good time-management skills
* Methodical approach
